Blue Devil Cottage at Trice's Lake
Getting Here See the Beauty along the Way
From Charlottesville, VA >>>>>>>>>> Take I-64 East Take Exit #136 toward Palmyra/Gordonsville Turn right on Route 15 South. Drive 15 miles, this will take you to the outskirts of Fork Union, VA Turn left at Dixie on to Route 6 towards Columbia, VA. This road is East River Road (Note: if you turn right at Dixie you will go to Fork Union, VA) On East River Road, drive for 5 miles into the town of Columbia. Turn right at the CCM (corner market) on Route 690, over the railroad tracks and over the James River. Continue on Columbia Road for 9 miles. Turn right on to Trice's Lake Road at LAKESIDE VILLAGE II sign. Follow Trice's Lake Road into Lakeside Village I. Past the pond and the waterfall to the right. Crest the hill and Blue Devil Cottage is immediately on the right hand side of the road. 100 Trice's Lake Road Park your vehicle in the gravel driveway to the left of the cottage.
